Abstract

At SMPN 2 Panti in fact the field suggests that in the school year 2011/2012 there were only 42% of teachers were able to develop a school final exam, in other words, there was 8 of 12 Subject Teachers who have not been able to compile tested nationally, school final exam tests with good fit with the applicable criteria, in this case the teacher did not prepare his own test questions using the exam but the school last year or search the internet (assessment banks) that are happening in school teaching material discrepancies between the tests on the material concerned. Based on the fact the field or the results of the exam school year 2011/2012 it is necessary to research related to the issues raised in the  SMPN 2 panti in hopes the school examinations in the Academic Year 2012/2013 all teachers are able to arrange their own tests in accordance with the applicable rules and criteria in order not there is a discrepancy between the tests, with the basic competencies required by the Education Unit Level Curriculum (SBC). The purpose of this research is to improve the competence of teachers in preparing school exam test school year 2012/2013 in SMPN 2 Panti. Based on the results of the study, researchers found that there was a very significant improvement which was discovered by researchers from the preliminary observations made by the researchers observe the archives about School Examination held by the subject teachers, in the first cycle increased but the increase is still lacking, so researchers continue in the second cycle and the second cycle 92% of teachers were able arrange the  School Exam questions as well, which is in accordance with the criteria established, as a matter of compliance with the purpose of learning, about the suitability of the measured behavioral aspects and the use of good Indonesian and correctly in accordance with EYD / grammatically and structurally correct. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that Through Assessment Workshop to improve the competence of teachers in preparing school exam test school year 2012/2013 in SMPN 2 Panti
